San Francisco Bay Area Dog Training Services:
Is your dog a good dog…BUT he or she…
- Goes ballistic when the doorbell rings or when other people or dogs pass by your window?
- Barks aggressively and lunges at other dogs you pass on the street?
- Counter/table surfs and steals food the moment you turn your back?
- Isn’t completely housebroken?
- Pulls on the leash or refuses to walk?
- Is anxious and/or destructive while you are out?
- Greets visitors to your home inappropriately?
Does this sound like your dog? If you have a good dog that has bad behaviors and want a GREAT DOG, I can help!
My name is Wednesday Bogel and I am a successful trainer of dogs and their people. I provide private, reward-based behavior dog training which begins in your home and then progresses to the outside world. My experience has taught me that this training philosophy offers the most common sense approach – giving you and your dog time to master new skills and allowing you to gain solid focus from your dog in a familiar environment before moving into a public setting filled with distractions.
What training program is best for your dog? All dogs are different and there are many approaches to take in dog training. And, what works for one family won’t for work another. For these reasons, my dog training always begins with a comprehensive behavior consultation. During our initial consultation, I will meet your dog to get a sense of his/her general temperament and personality. I will also talk with you and your family at length about your training needs, goals and all issues you might be having.
Once we have assessed the situation together, I will give you a behavioral diagnosis, a resolution plan and design a dog training program customized to your dog’s personality and needs, as well as your training goals. My initial consultation is extremely informative and takes approximately two hours. You will learn a lot about your dog, understand exactly why they do what they do, and be off to a great start to have a better and more successful relationship with your dog.
Providing dog training throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, I can help any dog that has issues with:
Aggression – Including aggression towards men, dog aggression, fear based aggression, food aggression and resource guarding
Anxiety – Separation anxiety, fear issues, excessive barking, chewing and digging
Reliable Dog Obedience Training – Most of the dogs I meet already know their commands but only do them on a selective basis. I can teach your dog to listen to you regardless of distractions, and in all situations!
Puppy Issues and Training –Puppy training, basic obedience, housebreaking, nipping/biting and jumping
There are no bad dogs (or very, very few)… just poor decision makers. If your dog is a good dog, but sometimes his behavior isn’t, call me today and let’s talk about making your good dog a GREAT DOG!
